Terms + Conditions

1. Payment Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before the commencement of any project. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project and before the final artwork is delivered. Payment methods will be communicated upon project agreement.

2. Revisions Policy

  • Each project includes two major revisions at no additional cost. Major revisions include significant changes to the concept, form, subject matter, or the addition/alteration of design elements.

  • Any additional major revisions beyond the included two will be billed at a rate of $100 per hour.

  • Unlimited minor revisions are included at no additional cost. Minor revisions cover changes to color palettes, fonts, alignment, spacing, or other small adjustments.

3. Timeline & Delivery

Project timelines will be discussed and agreed upon before starting. Delays caused by late client feedback or requests for additional major revisions may affect delivery dates.

4. Project Timeline & Equipment Rental Costs (Murals)

All project estimates are subject to change if weather conditions delay or extend the timeline. The artist will communicate any schedule shifts as soon as possible, but is not responsible for delays caused by rain, wind, temperature drops, or other unforeseen environmental factors. If the use of a scissor lift, scaffold system, or other specialized equipment is required for the project, associated rental costs will be added to the final invoice. If weather-related delays extend the rental period beyond the original estimate, the client will be responsible for all additional rental fees.

5. Mural Longevity, Touch-Ups & Maintenance (Murals)

Mural touch-ups requested after project completion will incur an additional fee. While the artist uses high-quality exterior paint with a 5–10 year durability estimate, longevity depends on various factors, including sun exposure, weather conditions, and the temperature at the time of painting. The artist is not liable for the mural’s lifespan, especially if environmental conditions impact wear. Ideal painting temperatures are 55°F and above, and final decisions about painting conditions are at the artist’s discretion. If the client insists on moving forward during suboptimal conditions, the artist is not responsible for any resulting issues with mural longevity. Additionally, the artist is not responsible for repairing or correcting any damage due to graffiti or vandalism; if graffiti correction is requested, it will incur an additional fee of $100/hour.

6. Ownership & Usage Rights

  • The artist retains copyright and moral rights to all original artwork unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Commissioned work is for personal or commercial use as specified in the project agreement. Reselling, reproducing, or altering the artwork beyond its intended purpose requires written permission.

  • The artist reserves the right to use the completed artwork for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If a project is canceled after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.

  • If a project is canceled after completion, the full agreed-upon payment remains due.

8. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide all necessary details, references, and feedback in a timely manner to ensure smooth project progress. Any agreed upon project deadlines will be met only if the client meets the specified feedback deadlines.

9. Liability & Disclaimer

The artist is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the commissioned artwork. The client agrees to use the artwork responsibly and within agreed-upon terms.
