HANDMADE MONO SCREEN PRINT

Akua ink on archival printmaking paper 300gsm

Echo of a Room that was Never Real is a series depicting haunting, half-remembered interiors—spaces suspended between memory and invention, where the echoes
of history, collapse, and unresolved presence linger in every shadowed corner. Read the full narrative here.

PROCESS

I create each print by building up layers of ink directly on the mesh screen — blending lighter and darker shades within a color to create a sense of depth, light, and shadow.

I selectively experiment with the viscosity of my inks and the order of color layers to control how they interact and blend. The ink is then transferred onto paper with one careful sweep of the squeegee, capturing all the layered marks onto the paper below. You can read more about my process here.

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive a unique 1/1 print. The images shown are a representative example, while each print will vary slightly with its own distinct marks and textures. These nuances enhance the individual beauty of every piece, ensuring your print is one-of-a-kind.

*Print comes unframed. You can learn more about custom framing options here.
